All Essentials Were Present.

This last weekend my super cute and crafty friends threw me an essentials shower here at home.

When I say crafty, I mean, "Hey, you make me want to barf because you can make the cutest things ever!" They had the cutest decorations set up and were so sweet to shower Jude, Josh, and I with diapers, wipes, detergent, pacifiers, and some ridiculously cute homemade gifts. We also had some time set aside where my friends prayed for Jude, my delivery, our transition with a newborn, and other milestones in his life.

My mother-in-law came with me and I loved that she got to meet so many of the gals I spend time with.

My two roommates from college, Lauren and Courtney, also drove in from Houston for the occasion. It was so good to get to see the Lovely Ladies of Laura Lane again and it's CRAZY to think that the silly gals who threw the best Halloween party ever are now all married and, to borrow the words of Coco, "having our first baby!"

I was dealing with my sniffles and head junk, so I sure didn't think of taking pictures, but thankfully my dear Lauren was prepared and took some great photos of the party. Enjoy!

 The table spread.

Some of the tasty treats... the names on the chalkboards were a cute touch.

This was going to have a side note that said, "Ricci Obviously Hasn't Eaten This Because She's Having a Baby"

The detergent went with my cloth diapers, but I loved that they doubled gifts as decor.

Oh, hey kankles...

My friend Emily made this little owl. If you see the little string at the bottom of him, you can pull it and it plays a lullabye. So crazy. Crafty, crafty ladies.

My Lovely Ladies of Laura Lane. (And my current double chin.)

I didn't actually get a picture with my hostesses. I was seriously fighting what was the worst time in my allergy junk. I'm so thankful for all the wonderful friends I have that helped us celebrate the (soon!) arrival of our little guy!
