Almost in the single digits!

These are getting more fun to do as we get closer to the end... only 10 weeks to go. I figure the only people reading this are family (hey Tammy, Grandma, and Mom!) and so it's fun to give them a recap of how things are going.

This week I'm only working a little bit and I have my first shower in San Antonio this weekend. I'm excited about that and hopefully will remember to take some pictures so you guys don't just have to see text on this blog. Though I'm sure once Jude arrives, you will be wishing for just text... that poor baby is gonna have his mom's camera in his grill 24/7.

The nursery is making progress. His quilt came in and I'm smitten with it. Splurged and got it from Pottery Barn, so I've been telling Jude he better like it since he'll be using it until he leaves our house!

how far along?  30 weeks
how are you measuring?  Exact. The doctor measured me at our appointment last Thursday. He said I looked small, but measure great.
size of baby? I suppose right on track, my belly size is how they will measure him from here out. So according to WTE, he should be hovering around the 3lb mark.
heartbeat? 156bpm. Nice and strong, Dr. M was pleased.
total weight gain/loss? + 14.5lbs. Hooray! I reached my goal of gaining 2lbs.
maternity clothes? Maternity pants but I can still wear most of my regular shirts.
stretch marks? None so far on the stomach. There may be a hint of one, but that could have also been a sleep line.
sleep? Last night was a good sleep night. I took an Alka-Seltzer for my heartburn (there was no asprin in it, so it's fine to take) and I didn't have to wake up once to take something else for my heartburn. Praise the Lord!
best moment this week?  Josh and I laid around and watched him roll and roll and roll. It doesn't always feel great for me, but it was fun to watch with Josh.
movement? Busy! Today especially, he rolled and kicked from 8am-11am when we left church.
food cravings? Still ice water.  We went out to Jason's Deli on Friday and I went crazy on the salad bar, which was awesome. I don't find myself really WANTING anything in particular these days. I still eat a lot of plain yogurt + sprouted grain cereal + honey. It's a super food for me. I get protein, sugar, good carbs, and dairy all in one.
what i miss:  Laying on my stomach, bending over without losing my breath.
what i'm looking forward to: Scheduling our birth class! We're taking it through the education classes at the other hospital in town. I'm excited to take it with Josh and see how freaked out it makes us. I'm also excited about my first baby shower this weekend!
how are you feeling? I've had a more emotional week. I think with our new schedule, I'm just feeling tired. I want Josh home more often, but that's not really an option, so I'm having to adjust. Thankfully, we have some fantastic friends who have been so supportive.

I'm so excited for more obvious movements and being able to watch Cooper move around.

Yay for gaining the weight you wanted to! Have I seen a picture of Jude's quilt? I can't remember. :-P

  3. Thanks, ladies!

Glad there's more than my grandma reading. Maybe I'll actually write things more often.
