I don't know that I've ever really talked about how long of a road this has been for both of us. There have been so many changes in our life that have brought us to this point. Two years ago when we got married, we would have never told you that we'd be starting nursing school and preparing for our first kid in the same semester. We had always thought the Lord's plan was for me to work full time while Josh got into and through medical school and we'd be discussing having kids when he was in his 3rd or 4th year.
Clearly we had that one wrong.
So here we are. Josh is a full time student by day and full time job guy at night. I work part time and figure out how to coordinate date nights, a nursery, meals and laundry. In a few months we'll be saying "hi" to Jude for the first time and who knows what else will get thrown in the mix. We keep an insanely tight budget and pray that our cars will pass their yearly inspections. Haha! Through it all, God has shown us what it really means to have to trust him and his timing.
These last few months have been particularly trying as we've had to really learn to fully rely on the Lord and his provision. Provision for a new job that would provide insurance and enough money, provision in my workplace for a schedule that will allow me as much time with Jude as possible after December, and more grace to believe that God was capable of doing all that we were asking of him.
He's provided in every way and even in ways we haven't expected. Our friends, Trent and Andrea, have been one of those additional blessings. We have been given some great friends to walk this road with. If you're praying for Josh through nursing school, will you also pray for Trent? They're both working, going to school, leading their families and serving in the church. They're not only trying to get by, but to do these things in a way that ultimately glorifies the Lord. Andrea and I are both so proud of them.
the future of Blinn nursing.
Like I said, Andrea and I are both so proud of them. :)
So, be praying for our guys as they start this first semester. Only two years to go!

Um...wow. This picture should have been burned. Great, now this is on the internet. For the rest of ever. Thanks babe.
