24 Weeks and Feelin' Pregnant

how far along?  24 Weeks

how are you measuring?  I measure right on track for size, Jude measures about 5-6 days larger according to our anatomy scan.

size of baby? About 1.9 pounds and measures about 9 inches head to tailbone (per WhattoExpect.com, he hasn't "officially" been measured in size.)

heartbeat?   138bpm (at our 20 week appt.)

total weight gain/loss? ~+12lb.
cravings? grape popsicles, beef jerky, food in general.

maternity clothes? I only wear maternity pants, which is sad since all the good jean sales are goin' on now. My regular shirts are getting tighter, but I still squeeze into some of them.

stretch marks? None so far but I'm waiting for them and won't be surprised if they show up before the end.
sleep? Lots of waking up this week. I usually just roll right back over and go to sleep or take a TUMS (thanks, heartburn) and can doze back off. 

best moment this week?  Josh and I went out on Friday for a date night at TJins and to go see Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I'll miss just being able to go without coordinating a sitter or packing up all of Jude's things to go with us.   

movement? Busy. Boy. This kid doesn't stop most of the time. At our 23 week appointment he was moving around so much it was hard to hear the heartbeat in the doppler. His movements were making some really noisy swishing sounds!

gender? He's all boy. Jude Michael Humphrey. 

what i miss:  Having a stomach that doesn't feel like an inverted trampoline, being able to lean into things from the front and not be kicked.

what i'm looking forward to:  My mom and grandma coming up this week to help look at the nursery furniture plan and just get a few good days off.

how are you feeling? Going strong! I haven't had a puking spell in about 2 weeks, Praise Jesus! My doctor was a little concerned at our 23 week appointment that I was possibly starting early contractions, but after watching it for a few days, we've determined it was most likely just the way he was moving around. I still have to be mindful of how he's moving and how I feel, but we're pretty sure I'm in the clear. Heartburn is really bad theses days and my child now dictates how I sit/lay down, but I've been feeling great overall!
