Happy New Years Eve!

Are you doing and new years resolutions? I'm normally not the person to make them, but this year I told Josh I wanted to have something(s) to accomplish this year. I decided to have one crafty resolution, one personal resolution, and a combined resolution with Josh.

For 2011, I've decided I want to do the following:

1. Make a Quilt [crafty resolution]

I can be pretty crafty, but I've never been good at knitting, crocheting, or quilting. I've been looking at rag quilts for awhile. They're incredibly forgiving of mistakes and they're just darn cute.

This year, I will be making a quilt. The good news is that I have quite a bit of fabric laying around, so this shouldn't be something that costs a whole lot.

2. Be Content [personal resolution]

I want to work on being joyful in where I am in life, what we have, and how incredibly good I have it. I want to get away from thinking I need this or that when really... it's just stuff or a certain "look". 

3. Study/Prayer Together [marriage resolution]

Josh and I together are going to work on having some set aside time in the week to do a bible study and prayer time together. We're still looking through study options and things, but we do want to be more purposeful in this in 2011.
