(EDIT: I'm reposting this because I can't remember what I said I'd like. I'm also waiting until after Christmas to use some birthday/odd job money to get a few of these pretties.)

Family members have started to ask what I'd like for Christmas.

To be honest... it's kind of hard for me to come up with things for others to buy me. For sure, there are things I'd like, such as a new computer and some camera equipment, but those are things I save for and buy myself because they are specific and I'm prone to do about 7 months of research before committing to a purchase like that.

Truthfully, it's nice to not have a large wish list. I'm glad that I have to think of things that I would like. I don't know, I like to believe that if I don't have a running wish list, I'm not coveting too much and I'm appreciating what I have. This probably isn't entirely true.

Anyway, I'm going to share my list of Christmas gifts here because it's quick for family to reference. I also thing these things would make sweet gifts for that special someone in your life.


1 :: Lisa Leonard Necklace

2 :: Sseko Sandals

These sandals are cute. They also help women in Uganda go to school. If I bought a pair, they would be in a size 7 or 8, I'm sure either one would fit. These sandals are neat because you can simply change out the strap and voila! new shoes. boom. www.ssekodesigns.com

3 :: TOMS Wedge

 

TOMS + wedge + peep toe = a shoe that was made for me. TOMS fit small, so I would be an 8.5. www.toms.com

4 :: Books, Books, Books
I like to cook. I like to read. I like to sew. I like to take pictures. These books are right up my alley... and my fingerprints may or may not be all over them at Barnes and Noble.

5 :: Cardigans

I love cardigans. I have a white one and a tan one that are worn weekly. Long or regular length... it doesn't matter. Any color will do, really. These are from Old Navy. Target has some cute ones, too. For me, solid colors are always better since I can wear them with more things. Target does have some CUTE printed ones, though... so if you're into that kind of thing, they would look really cute.
