As much as I love my big camera, I don't know how those bloggers carry it around, snap their pictures while playing with their kids, making their crafts, and putting together lunch boxes for their kids that look like a garden scene complete with a gnome shaped chocolate. (I submit to you they're not that pulled together, no matter how beautifully processed their pictures make you think.)

My day to day usually results in no photos being taken, or me taking 50 bazillion shots of the same mundane thing my kid is doing to get 1 photo that I instagram. I tend to use my iPod for my daily snapshots if I'm wanting to capture something quick. So, in the spirit of attempting to blog more, here are some quick snapshots of things around the house that I'm loving or have done this week.

finally got my curtains made for the bookshelf. here, jude shows off their durability.

a gift from his mimi and gpaw. it's called a ball-cano. the yellow piece raises and spills the balls down. it's cool because he can pull up and stand on it and it doesn't move!

homemade coffee creamer. 4 ingredients and it's all natural. yum.

my mom got me this candle while she was in houston. it can make my whole downstairs smell great and is only slightly larger than a tea light.
