Good grief you are a busy, busy boy! From the time I pick you up from standing in your crib to the time I lay you down you are pure motion. You've learned how to stand up and cruise along furniture and (thankfully) you also figured out how to get back down not far after. If it is standing, you are trying to pull up on it. This has led to a few falls and smashed fingers in drawer pulls, but you've been fine.
You have such a fun personality. You love an audience and will tease, play, and interact with anyone around you. The people in the nursery always remark about how happy you are and how easy going you are. You are a clown, independent, and so loving at the same time.
You are really becoming a rock star sleeper at night. Our new routine is to give you a bath and let you play awhile longer. Then I take you upstairs and sing you your hymn. We turn on your music, lay you down and hand you a small bottle of water. Then we turn off the lights and turn on your Twilight Turtle. For the past few nights, you haven't even fussed.
You are also becoming quite the jabber-jay. You babble all sorts of sounds and say "uh-oh" when you drop a toy and "boo!" when we play. You're really close to saying "mama" and "dada" when you want one of us, but you also still call a cracker "mama"... so we've still got some work to do. You also sign "more" and we're working on "please" and "all done".
Eating is still an exciting time in your life. The only things you're starting to have aversion to is cheese, which makes me think you may not be my child. We've started re-introducing apple and you seem to be taking to it a little better. You are a big fan of spinach, beets, banana, pear, rice, beans, and tacos.
This semester I'm home more with you, which has been a lot of fun so far. We go to the Palermo's house every Tuesday so I can watch the boys and you LOVE hanging out with Brody, Carson, and Brooks. You are Brooks are especially cute, since y'all both play and are on the same level. You two like to share lunch and switch bottles on me.
