Poor little blog, you've been grossly neglected.
Maybe I can resolve this semester to blog more frequently. After all, I will be home 3 days a work week, so it shouldn't be that hard!
Josh is back in school, which means we're back to a life where I share him with nursing school. He's also taken a leadership role on a ministry team at church, so now I will share him with his duties there as well. By the grace of God his school schedule is great with my work schedule, so Jude will rarely need a babysitter. We'll have Monday mornings at home together, so I'm planning to make those mornings big breakfast and family devotional time.
Jude is also learning and growing by leaps and bounds. He's FINALLY getting in some teeth and can now say "uh-oh" when he drops something. He signs a few commands and is cruising along furniture. I'm also 100% sure he's growing like a weed, which we'll confirm at his 9 month appointment on Wednesday.
I'm taking over the social media for kennel, which will require some more quick stops by to snap pictures to upload and share of what's going on at APZ. Training puppies is still also in my plans for this semester and I was super excited to hear that I've been getting rave reviews from my clients.
We've been redecorating the downstairs and I feel like we're 95% complete. I still need to finish a few art projects, paint my curtains, sew some pillow covers, and finish some details on my new shelves. Josh was such a trooper, making sure anything he could do was finished before he started school.
I'm slowing organizing and planning our little man's 1st birthday party. It seems like I still have a lot of time, but really I want to get invitations out by mid-October so that people can make plans among all the holiday hustle and bustle. I'm also doing some commission work in the crafting department to make a little extra cash, which is always a plus! I've toyed with the idea of doing some mini photo sessions for the holiday season, but we'll see if that makes it to fruition. :)
Whelp, that's the sum up of where we're at. Hopefully I can be a bit more consistent this semester. I want to be better about documenting our life, but I seem to just get caught up in living it. (Which, in my opinion, is always going to trump sitting in front of a screen and typing!)
