Hodge Podge

Since I don't do cooking all week and Josh is working nights, our cooking schedule is a little different these days. I also don't like spending too much time in there making elaborate meals because I'm pretty tired once I get home from work and I just haven't felt like cooking a lot. So, we're taking things nice and easy, making things that are fast or can be made ahead of time. Here's what's on the menu this week:

Spaghetti
Meatball Subs and chips

More than likely I'll pack the sub stuff and go meet Josh at his office to have dinner later this week. I'm so thankful that we've been able to have dinner together at least a couple times a week.

I ordered a quilt for the nursery this week. It's my first real purchase as far as having to make a decision on what we're doing for his room. Now I need to get all the projects organized and get to gettin'. I'm excited to see the end result. My parents are making a storage hutch/changing station for Jude and we have the crib set up and furniture in it's proper place.

The biggest things to accomplish: crib and full bed sheeting, wall decor, and organizing all the clothes we've gotten from friends and family so far. I'm going to organize them in under-bed storage by months (0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, 12+) and his closet will hold whatever it is he's fitting into at the moment. I need to pick out fabric for the rocking chair to be covered with and make about 50 other decisions by my "deadline" of Thanksgiving. My mom's family is coming up this way and I'd like to show them the house and nursery all finished off.

There's a large pile of laundry in my living room that just scares me.

I'm baking 40 small cheesecakes for a work meeting this week.

I think I'll be headed to Sonic for a corn-dog today.

The end.

Ricci
