how far along? 26 weeks today
how are you measuring? I suppose we're still chugging along at our regular "normal for me/slightly bigger for Jude" pace.
size of baby? According to WhattoExpect.com, we should be weighing in at or slightly over 2lbs. and from head to toe be around 15 inches. No wonder I feel like I'm carrying around a cantaloupe in my belly!
heartbeat? I assume he's still hovering around the upper 130's.
total weight gain/loss? + 12.5lbs. I'm starting a work out class this week at our church that a good friend in the Kinesiology Department at A&M is teaching. Since I'm not working in the kennel, I'm glad to be getting back into some form of physical exercise. She's going to modify any exercises I can't do, so it should be perfect to help me keep in some form of shape through this pregnancy.
maternity clothes? Maternity pants, I still fit into some of my regular shirts as long as they are more "forgiving" in the boobs and stomach area.
stretch marks? None so far, still waiting for my stripes to come in.
sleep? This week was not my best for sleep. I've started waking up every two hours to either use the restroom, roll over, check my phone, or just lay there awake for a bit. It's a little irritating, but last night was back to a more normal routine (1-2 times the whole night) so hopefully it was just a short spell.

best moment this week? I successfully made homemade reese's peanut butter cups!
movement? Less jabs and pokes, more pressing into my stomach. I think he's trying to escape.
food cravings? Ice water. All. The. Time. I also tried greek yogurt for the first time this week. Wow. Where have I been? That stuff was good.
what i miss: This week it's sushi. I'm gonna have to go hunt down some imitation crab rolls or something.
what i'm looking forward to: Getting into my 3rd trimester, starting Jude's nursery, "shower season". I've got a few friends who are due within a couple weeks of me, so we're all about to start having our baby showers, which is always fun.
how are you feeling? Physically this was a harder week due to my lack of sleep and Jude's constant pushing on the walls of my stomach. I'm also having some digestive issues, so that doesn't help. However, I'm hoping that the work out class will help my body get back on track. I've been drinking a lot of water to help flush anything out as well. Hopefully this week is a little easier.
Overall, we're doing really well around here. Josh had a good first week of nursing school and we're just figuring out what life will look like this semester. We also would like to get started on Jude's nursery soon and there are a couple house projects we'd like to get through before he comes. Our next appointment is Sept. 16 and I think we're getting a 3D ultrasound since my doctor lost the gender bet when our guy showed his... errr, stuff... on the screen. (Dr. M. thought we were having a girl.)
Hope everyone has a great Labor Day. I'll still be up at the kennel for a bit, but hopefully will have some time to get stuff done around this house!
