29 Weeks!

(No picture... between Josh's work/nursing school hours and my work schedule, that just ain't gonna happen. Plus I like to look semi-nice for them and these days I LOVE work out shorts and tank tops at home.)

how far along?  29 weeks
how are you measuring?  I'm right on track!
size of baby? Jude was 2 lbs, 4oz. at our 27 week appointment, he'll get measured again on Thursday at our 29 week check up. (I'm on two week appointments now, crazy.)
heartbeat? Still there and still going. Haven't had his heart rate checked in awhile, so who really knows.
total weight gain/loss? + 12.5lbs. I'll weigh myself at the kennel tomorrow. My goal from my last doctor's appointment was to start gaining a little bit of weight.
maternity clothes? Maternity pants but I can still wear most of my regular shirts.
stretch marks? None so far on the stomach. Maybe I'll stay clear of them?
sleep? Sleeping is hard these days. I usually fall asleep on the couch and Josh wakes me up when he's done studying/working and is ready for bed. Once I fall asleep upstairs, I'm usually waking up to take TUMS at least once a night, or roll over because my arm/leg has fallen asleep.
best moment this week?  I think he finally flipped and went head down!
movement? He's a busy guy. Lots of movement in the car and at home, but at church he's super quiet, which is a relief for my insides.
food cravings? Still ice water.
what i miss:  Not much right now. I did get myself some sushi this week and it was just what I had been missing. (Don't worry, it was cooked salmon, so no worries about the babe.)
what i'm looking forward to:  Having my legs not hurt after 30 minutes of standing, being able to move things and put things away without asking for help. I don't do dependence well.
how are you feeling? Pregnancy is starting to feel like pregnancy. My legs are feeling tired and I've had some slight pain in my tailbone area. It's also not a good time of year for my upper back/rib cage area with all the pressure changing... but I'm looking forward to getting with a PT after Jude is born to work out some of these issues.

  1. We have an appt on Thursday too! :)

Bi-weekly appointments, wow! You're almost there!!

Coop is very active at work and at home, but anywhere else he's quiet. Of course, once he kicks into high gear with REAL kicks, etc I'm sure I'll notice him much more. :p

I'm LOVING ice water too. The colder the better.

I'm so glad you two are doing so well. I can't believe we're so close to meeting Jude! <3

  2. You may/may not notice him while you're out, even once he gets going. Church and out running errands (like, I'm running through the grocery store or walking around Hobby Lobby) I hardly notice if he's moving but that's normal.

Hopefully we're not TOO close to meeting him. 11 weeks is still a bit of a ways to go and I would prefer to not be meeting him before 9 and no more than 13. Ha.

Have fun at your appointment. These all get really boring from here on out. They just measure me and find the heart beat, check for swelling, take my stats and I'm off!
