The hunt continues for a new place for us to call home.
Tomorrow we're meeting with a leasing agent to look at some duplex properties. Josh and I are both interested in looking at a 2/1.5 two story duplex not too far from where I used to live while in college. It's not really in the area we had been looking, but we know this area, too, and aren't opposed to it either. It would still give us both access to the highway, which we need to get to our jobs/school.
I think I'm almost at the point of just wanting to pin something down and be done with it. I've been looking at floor plans and locations since December/January, so it's getting a little old by now. Mostly, I want to know where we'll be so that I can start deciding what can stay, what needs to go, and what we may need to consider putting in storage.
I'm also wanting to finalize my decorating plans for the new place. (You knew it would come down to this.) There's some cool stuff swimming in my head, and I'd like to know the space I'm working with to figure out if any of them would be possible/affordable/allowed. I love me some decorating!
It's been harder than we thought to find a place that satisfies both our needs, our budget, and our preferences. Obviously our budget comes first and our preferences (such as no wallpaper) last, but land! Out of all the places we've looked at online, there are only 1 or 2 that Josh and I both like and can satisfy the space that we need. Makes me crazy.
Alright, I've got the early bird shift tomorrow (6:30am-11:00am) so it's time to peace out.
