It's so crazy to think that you will be one next month. I've been planning your party and getting every detail right, but actually admitting that I will have a one year old still has to happen.
Gracious, you crack me up, and everyone else. You are a complete ham and love attention. Even in the car, you will say "boo!" and laugh, just trying to bait us into talking back at you. You still love to play peek-a-boo, but you've started anticipating and making more facial expressions while you play. You've also acquired a love of cars, balls, and anything that you shouldn't have.
You aren't quite officially a walker, but you get closer and closer each day. You can hold onto our finger with one hand and walk well, but when you walk on your own you can only get 10 or so steps. You still prefer to crawl, but I have a feeling that is a fleeting thing.
You've developed, as they say on Toddlers and Tiaras when trying to describe their terrible children, "many layers". Basically, this translated to learning how to pitch a fit.
Your pictures this month were late and then quickly taken. I'm glad to be retiring the pictures on the bed theme, you tried to dive off the bed a number of times while I was shooting. For your 1 year shoot we'll figure out something else.
We love all your "layers". You are all boy, absolutely wild, and completely crazy. Even so, we wouldn't want you any other way. We love you and can't wait to celebrate the first year of your life so soon!
Weight: 20+lbs. (11%)
Length: 27-28 inches
Eating: Bottle/Mix mix in the morning, Sippy cup of milk mix around 4-5pm, food at mealtimes and snacks {you eat what we eat with the exception of the big no-no foods}
Bedtime: 9:30pm
Awake: Around 8am
Naps: 10:30am and 3pm, give or take 30 minutes
Diapers: Size 4's, Fuzzibunz One Size (moved up all my elastics to a bigger setting!)
Clothes: 12 month and some 12-18 month for length. We still have to put you in a cloth for some pants since you need a fake butt to make some things fit really well.
Favorites: climbing, peek-a-boo, balls, cars, daddy
Latest Tricks: new words, walking while holding onto our hand
