Oh, hey blog!
We're back from funeral things and getting back into the general swing of things.
This weekend has some promise for a lot of productivity. Josh is taking his nursing entrance test tomorrow morning and then we'll spend the rest of the day packing stuff up, taking stuff to goodwill, or posting items to Craigslist. I'm not really ready for the house to look so bare, but I know that I'll appreciate it come move day when all we have to do is load up those boxes.
I can't wait to start working on new house projects, but I keep reminding myself that I need to be patient and not expect it all to go up at once. (Though, if anyone wants to loan me a magic genie that can just snap their fingers and have the new place painted... you'd be stellar.) My mom is looking at taking a day off from work to come help me unpack and get stuff put up, so that will help me quite a bit since she's got a great eye for where to put things.
Once we get moved in and semi unpacked, read: I get the kitchen unloaded, I'm hoping we can have a fun dinner party. If you're family and you're reading this, you're also welcome to come visit us!
